Succotash and cracked kale. - We were a bit surprised that the succotash was a sandwich (no indication of it on the menu, as well as other sandwiches that are not mentioned as such). It was however delicious. The cracked kale was amazing and crisp but fatty from deep frying. Deep fried health food always maker smile @ Whitmans

I a bit confused; The beef patty is great and can rival even the Shake Shack but an $8 burger (including the cheese upgrade) I would expect far more generous size than McDonalds kids' meal. (and I never complain about size). Moreover ...I'm really annoyed with places that advertise themselves as 'Slow Food' (big letters, on the front of the restaurant) to seem as taking a part of the hip Slow Food movement, -but then they feed you a burger with industrially-baked cheap-o buns with preservatives and highly processed American cheese. And what's with the unripe tomato slice? That's not what the Slow Food movement is about! Stop faking it! @ Whitmans

This place prides itself on it's roast beef sandwich but the real star here is the giant hand cut fries. It's like eating mash potatoes in a crispy shell! The sandwich though, I don't get it; it's giant (an they offer it in an even bigger size!) The hero bread is micr and roast beef is good but it's a bleak offering: the slice of cheap mozzarella is weird and pointless. The dipping gravy is too salty. I would take half the size if they only give me some tomatoes, pickles, greens or relish @ This Little Piggy

The thin crust pizza here is legendary. Delicious, great texture, high quality cheese and bold (yet plain) sauce of San-Marino tomatoes. The crust is very thin almost a cracker -and you have to be in the mood for that but if you are, this is one of NYC's best @ Pizza Gruppo

Atlantic Lobster and Shrimp open-faced sandwich. Lobster and shrimp were great fresh quality and didn't need so much seasoning to shine through. Just baked this rustic multi grain bread; perhaps my best and most complex bread thus far. Used a combination of whole wheat + dark rye + bread flours. Embedded rolled oats, Dutch caraway, oat bran and roasted sunflower seeds. Instead of water, i used fresh whey from my cheesemaking. Fermented into slight sourdough over 17 hours. This is sooooo Goooooood!!!!! @ במטבח שלי
